Embedded Flash Controllers

Silicon Motion’s embedded flash controllers are designed to control flash embedded in devices using eMMC, Compact Flash, USB, and SSD (Solid State Drive) interfaces. Controllers for embedded flash solutions include controller companion chips for NAND flash components mounted on the printed circuit board of devices or controller dies paired with NAND flash components with both contained within a single packaging. End devices with embedded flash include mobile phones, smartphones, tablet PCs, notebooks, Industrial PCs, GPS devices, DVD players, digital camcorders, MP3 players, and networking equipment.
